Conferment of Consul General’s Commendation upon eminent persons in Saskatchewan

On the occasion of his Official Visit to Saskatchewan, Consul General Kobayashi offered his profound respect and conferred the Consul General’s Commendation upon several eminent persons in Saskatchewan, recognizing each of their remarkable achievements and contributions to the mutual understanding, friendship, and goodwill between Japan and Canada.
On October 28, Ms. Kumiko Klinger, Principal, Saskatoon Japanese Language School, was awarded the Consul General’s Commendation.
On October 29, Dr. Carin Holroyd, President, Japan Studies Association of Canada, was awarded the Consul General’s Commendation.
On October 31, Ms. Tomoko Lamb, Japanese Program Coordinator and Instructor of Japanese, University of Regina, was awarded the Consul General’s Commendation.
