The provinces and territories under the jurisdiction of the Consulate-General of Japan in Calgary are:

• The Northwest Territories

Due to the size of the covered area, the Government of Japan has appointed three honorary consul generals who can provide certain services and assistance in the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, as well as in Northern Alberta.
