2015/5/28
This year marks the 25th anniversary since the establishment of the Kurimoto Garden at the University of Alberta’s Devonian Botanic Garden, located in Devon, AB. This exciting Festival is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2015, from 11am to 4pm on the Garden grounds. The Consulate-General of Japan in Calgary will be participating in the event with an informational booth and display alongside a host of cultural performances/displays organized by several Japan-related groups. Besides being the 25th anniversary of Kurimoto Garden’s foundation, 2015 is worthy of particular mention considering it also marks the 35th anniversary of Alberta-Hokkaido Sister Province Relations.
