An Introductory Lecture on Kabuki Theatre

The Consulate-General of Japan in Calgary, the Japan Foundation, and the University of Calgary Department of Linguistics, Languages and Cultures, are pleased to present a lecture on Japanese Kabuki Theatre. Join Japan Foundation's Toshi Aoyagi as he gives a lecture and DVD presentation in celebration of the premiere screening of Cinema Kabuki in Calgary. This introductory lecture invites you into the world of Kabuki theatre, unveiling some its essential elements through portions of Cinema Kabuki screenings.
