Official Logo for Japan and Canada's 90th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations

The official logo in recognition of the 90^th anniversary of Japan-Canada diplomatic relations has been formally selected by the Embassy of Japan. Mr. Haruo Hamaguchi’s design concept was chosen among quite a few entries, and illustrates Mt. Fuji and the Canadian Rockies linked in unison, while it includes colour and design elements from each country’s national flag. Congratulations to Mr. Hamaguchi, and thank you to all those that entered the contest and voted in the public opinion poll.

As 2018 celebrates the 90^th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Canada and Japan, and 2019 marks the 90^th anniversary of the institution of the Canadian Embassy in Japan, the new logo will be accordingly used throughout 2018 and 2019 in promotion of related events.
