The Bow Valley Japanese Community Association Mochitsuki New Year Event

On January 14^th, 2018, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM the Bow Valley Japanese Community Association will be holding a New Year Celebration Event at Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel & Conference Centre, in Banff. Attendees are welcome to participate in Mochitsuki (pounding steamed rice for rice-cake making), and have the chance to taste delicious Japanese rice-cakes and experience this long-held tradition. The event is free of charge and open to anyone wishing to attend.
