6th Annual Alberta High School Japanese Speech Contest
On April 28th, 2018, The Alberta High School Japanese Language Speech Contest was held at Harry Ainlay High School, Edmonton, Alberta. 14 individuals from 5 high schools within Alberta performed speeches of their choice with titles that included, “The Subtlety of Communication in Japanese”, “Canadian Aurora”, “One Good Deed a Day”, among others themes. Aside from the speeches, there were live skits performed, as well a video contest.
