Consul-General Kobayashi participates in Otafest, a Japanese Anime Convention

Consul-General Kobayashi attended the 20th Otafest, an event related to Japanese anime held from May 18th to May 20th in Calgary. Consul-General Kobayashi also attended the cosplay contest on May 19th as a judge. Participants of the contest were selected to be awarded with the “Consul-General of Japan Special Award”, and were handed with the certificate. During the three days of the festival, the Consulate-General of Japan also had a booth on display, which introduced Japanese tourist spots, the JET program and more.
