Conferment Ceremony of the Foreign Minister's Commendation to Ms. Dori Gingera-Beauchemin, Deputy Minister of Manitoba Agriculture by Consul General Kobayashi

On September 21st, Consul General Kobayashi visited Winnipeg and awarded the Foreign Minister’s Commendation to Ms. Dori Gingera-Beauchemin, Deputy Minister of Manitoba Agriculture followed by a dinner to celebrate her achievement at a Japanese restaurant in Winnipeg.


The Japanese Government Foreign Minister’s Commendation is an award, given to those that have made considerable contributions towards promoting relations between Japan and foreign countries. Ms. Gingera-Beauchemin in cooperation with the York-Benimaru Foundation and Manitoba 4H which is an NGO on behalf of the Province of Manitoba, has supported the high school students’ exchange program for over the 30 years.


Mr.and Mrs. Beauchemin, Hon. Ralph Eichler, Minister of Agriculture, and host families of Japanese high school students were some of the guests in attendance.



Ms. Dori Gingera-Beauchemin received the Foreign Minister’s Commendation from Consul General Kobayashi with a smile.
