Meeting with Mayor Marshall Chalmers of Chestermere

On August 20th, Consul General Kobayashi visited the City of Chestermere, meeting with Mayor Marshall Chalmers and with Mr. Bernie Morton, the City of Chestermere's Chief Administrative Officer. They discussed opportunities to build on the past 90 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Canada through initiatives and investments at the municipal level. The Consul General was also formally introduced to Chestermere City Council by the Mayor.
