Meeting with the Speaker, Ministers and Mayor

On October 10, Consul General Kobayashi met with the speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Honourable Nathan Matthew Cooper, and exchanged views about the assembly interaction.
On October 11, Consul General Kobayashi met with the Honourable Devin Dreeshen, Alberta Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, to confirm the positive agricultural relations between Alberta and Japan, and discuss new research fields that Alberta Agriculture is exploring.
On October 16, Consul General Kobayashi also met with the mayor of Edmonton, His Worship Don Iveson and exchanged views on cooperative relationships.
On October 18, Consul General Kobayashi met with the Honourable Tanya Fir, Alberta Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Tourism, and exchanged views on the expansion of trade between Japan and Alberta under CTPPP (The Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership).
