On June 29, Consul-General Wajima and Vice Consul Hashiguchi paid a courtesy call on Lethbridge Police Service Chief Shahin Mehdizadeh and toured the various facilities at the police station.
Approximately 270 Japanese nationals reside in Lethbridge. Consul-General Wajima took the oppotunity to reiterate his request to Chief Mehdizadeh for safety and security of Japanese nationals, and for cooperation in the event of an emergency.
