On August 20th, 2020, Consul-General Shigenobu Kobayashi held a telephone meeting with Ms. Kate White, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade, and Tourism, Government of Alberta.
During the meeting, they discussed milestones in Japan-Alberta relations, such as the 40th anniversary of the sister-province relationship between Alberta and Hokkaido and their ongoing cooperation, among other items.
