On Monday, December 14th, University of Alberta's Prince Takamado Japan Centre held a Webinar 3: “Applying AI in COVID-19”, from the "Ageing Society in the Era of Pandemics: Approaches in Japan and Canada" webinar series with support from our Consulate. Consul General Kobayashi opened with a few remarks. Dr. Yuzuru Tanaka, a professor at Hokkaido University in Japan, and Dr. Randy Goebel, a professor at the University of Alberta participated in the webinar and exchanged opinions on the utilization of AI during the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan and Canada, highlighting recent trends.
