Consul-General Uchida Participates in the 2021 Lethbridge & District Japanese Garden Society AGM

On Wednesday, May 12th, Consul-General Uchida attended the Annual General Meeting of the Lethbridge & District Japanese Garden Society, where he gave opening remarks and expressed gratitude for the many contributions of the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden as a symbol of friendship between Japan and Canada. The event was attended by approximately 40 delegates with strong ties to the garden, including Mayor Chris Spearman of Lethbridge, the Honourable Rachael Harder, M.P., President Brad Hembroff of the Lethbridge & District Japanese Garden Society, and Executive Director Michelle Day of the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden.
