The 31st Alberta District and 34th Annual Manitoba Japanese Speech Contests

On March 4th and 5th, the Alberta and Manitoba District Japanese Speech Contests for university students were held virtually in their respective provinces. With 15 participants at the Alberta contest, and 5 participants at the Manitoba contest, the students presented various themes from thoughts regarding daily experiences to philosophy and economics using Japanese. Consul-General Uchida delivered opening remarks and acted as a judge.
