The 33rd Canadian National Japanese Speech Contest

The 33rd Canadian National Japanese Speech Contest for university students across the country was held in a combined virtual and in-person format at the University of Alberta Prince Takamado Japan Centre on March 26. The contest featured the 26 students who beat the competition in their respective home districts to deliver their creative presentations on a national stage, featuring diverse topics from politics to everyday life. Consul-General Uchida delivered opening remarks and acted as a judge on the panel.
