On August 25, Consul-General Uchida participated in Taber Cornfest as a guest, and delivered remarks at the opening ceremony. In addition to the Consul-General, the Honourable Martin Shields, M.P., Mr. Grant Hunter, M.L.A., and other delegates attended to enjoy the parade and Taber corn.
This year marks the 41st anniversary of the sister city twinning relationship with Higashiomi (formerly Notogawa) in Shiga Prefecture. We look forward to the continued relationship between both municipalities in the future.
