Consul-General Wajima Meets with Delegation from Hokkaido Prefecture

On October 15th, the delegation from Hokkaido, including Vice-Governor Hamasaka, Hokkaido Assembly Members Mr. Murata, Mr. Funahashi, and Mr. Toda, visited Calgary and paid a courtesy call to Consul-General Wajima.
Hokkaido and Alberta established a sister city relationship in 1980, and next year, 2025, will mark the 45th anniversary. Consul-General Wajima and the Hokkaido delegation exchanged views on further expanding and developing relations between Hokkaido and Alberta in the future.
