Consul-General Wajima Attends Canadian Hydrogen Conference

From April 22 to 23, Consul-General Wajima visited Edmonton to attend the Canadian Hydrogen Conference. During his stay, CG Wajima had meetings with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police of Alberta, Edmonton Police Service, the University of Alberta, and the Association of Metro Edmonton Japanese Community School. During these meetings, he exchanged views with relevant personnel.

Consul-General Wajima met with Commanding Officer Rob Hill and Trevor Daroux at the RCMP headquarters in Alberta. There, they exchanged opinions, and he was given a tour of the operations center.

 

Consul-General Wajima met with Provost and Vice-President Verna Yiu and exchanged opinions on the future of the Prince Takamado Japan Centre and Japanese students studying abroad.

 

Consul-General Wajima met with Interim Chief Warren Driechel and exchanged opinions on the security situation in Edmonton and requested cooperation in ensuring the safety of Japanese residents.

 

Consul-General Wajima met with The Association of Metro Edmonton Japanese Community School teachers and board members and exchanged opinions.
