Consul-General Wajima Attends Japan Pavilion at Folklorama 2025

On August 16th, Consul-General Wajima attended the Japan Pavilion at Folklorama 2025 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Folklorama is the one of the largest multicultural festivals in the world. This year's event ran for two weeks, from August 10th to 16th, and attracted over 360,000 visitors in total.
During the festival, pavilions representing over 40 countries and cultures appeared across Winnipeg, offering music, dance, traditional attire, and cuisine.
The Japan Pavilion, operated by JCAM, was very popular. It featured dynamic performances by Hinode Taiko and Aurora Japanese Dancers, as well as a Kendo demonstration that drew large crowds of Japan enthusiasts.
