Consul-General Wajima Presents Commendation on Dr. Kelly Kaita

On May 3rd, Consul-General Wajima attended KEIROKAI (Senior Appreciation Party) at the Japanese Cultural Association of Manitoba (JCAM) and presented the Consul-General’s Commendation on Dr. Kelly Kaita, past-president of JCAM.
During his tenure, Dr. Kaita made significant contributions to the development of the Japanese community, the promotion of Japanese culture, and the strengthening of Japanese language education in Manitoba.
Furthermore, JCAM President Jim Suzuki presented Ms. Caroline Yamashita with a JCAM Community Service Award in recognition of her many years of dedication, which was followed by a dance performance.
