Consul-General Wajima Visits the Calgary Fire Dept Headquarters

On May 12th, Consul-General Wajima and Vice-Consul Hashiguchi visited the Calgary Fire Dept Headquarters. They received a briefing on firefighting operations and systems, and also toured the inside of a fire truck.
Calgary has 43 fire stations. Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, firefighters respond to 90,000 emergency calls annually, ensuring the daily safety of Calgary residents, including Japanese tourists and residents.
