Consul-General and Mrs. Wajima Attends CJCA Stampede Breakfast

On July 4th, the Calgary Japanese Community Association (CJCA) held their annual Stampede Breakfast at the community centre. Consul-General and Madame Wajima, along with members of the Consulate staff, attended the event.
Consul-General Wajima joined in flipping pancakes and, in his remarks, expressed his gratitude to the volunteers for their hard work and support. He also noted that the spirit of the Stampede Breakfast is akin to Japan's omotenashi, saying that both embody a wonderful tradition of hospitality.
During the event, there were performances from the Okinawa Eisa group, Karate group, J-Pop groups, Midnight Taiko, Wa-daiko group and Yosoka, YOSAKOI dance group.
