Edmonton Heritage Festival 2026

Heritage Festival 2026 was held in Edmonton, AB during August 1-3, and featured 65 pavilions including one highlighting Japan.
The Japanese pavilion by the Edmonton Japanese Community Association featured different types of booths such as those serving shaved ice, and taiyaki sweets, as well as cultural experiences such as a karuta card game and origami. In addition, the yosakoi dance group based in Calgary, YOSOCA, also performed for the bustling crowd.
While the festival did temporarily shut down due to strong winds on August 2nd, the festival time was extended by one hour on August 3rd to end on a high note.
