Consul-General Wajima Attends Japanese Pavilion at Folklorama 2026
2026/8/7
On August 7, Consul-General Wajima visited Winnipeg to enjoy the Japanese Pavilion at Folklorama. Following his first visit last year, this was his second opportunity to experience the festival organized by the Japanese and Japanese Canadian communities in Greater Winnipeg.
He was warmly welcomed by Mr. Jim Suzuki, President of the Japanese Cultural Association of Manitoba (JCAM), JCAM members, and local volunteers. Mr. Ken Zaifman, Honorary Consul General of Japan in Winnipeg, also joined the festivities.
It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Japanese culture and heritage and reconnect with many friends in Winnipeg!
