MOSAIC Multicultural Festival at Bow Valley College

On November 16^th the Consulate-General of Japan took part in the MOSAIC Multicultural Festival, organized yearly on campus by Bow Valley College to promote and celebrate different cultures around the world. Several student and cultural organization representatives were present with cultural displays and food samples. The Consulate-General of Japan booth featured a traditional kimono display, informational films on Japanese culture and technology, and a map for visitors to pin places of interest. In addition regional and tourist information was disseminated to the public.

The event drew a large crowd of students from Bow Valley College who were eager to learn about other cultures.
