Consul-General Kobayashi Participating in the First Winnipeg Bon-Odori Festival
On Saturday, July 7th, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Consulate-General of Japan in Calgary and the Japanese Cultural Association of Manitoba collaborated for the First Winnipeg Bon-Odori Festival. In the beginning, along with Consul-General Kobayashi, Falcon Member of Parliament, and Smith Member of the Legislative Assembly – Manitoba and others, greeted everyone as guests. Many people came together, and enjoyed the Japanese traditional Bon-Odori dance under the great weather. At the same time, there were so many people that the lines for Takoyaki, Yakisoba and more, were stretched to the corner.
