Consul General Kobayashi Attends "Forgiveness, A Gift From My Grandparents - Mark Sakamoto" Event

On Saturday, September 15th, Consul General Kobayashi and Mrs. Kobayashi attended and gave opening remarks at the “Forgiveness, A Gift From My Grandparents - by Mark Sakamoto” event hosted by the University of Lethbridge. Mark Sakamoto is a 3rd generation Japanese-Canadian who received high acclaim for his bestselling book “Forgiveness” which portrays the hard lives of his grandfather (Canadian) and grandmother (Japanese) during WWII.
