Alberta Provincial High School 11th Annual Japanese Language Speech Contest
On May 6th, the Consulate-General of Japan in Calgary cosponsored the Alberta Provincial High School 11th Annual Japanese Language Speech Contest in cooperation with the Alberta Japanese Business Association, the Japan Foundation, the Edmonton Japanese Community Association, and the Alberta Japanese Teachers’ Association. During the contest, approximately 20 high school students who are studying Japanese at high schools around Alberta presented various topics such as daily life, culture, and philosophy. Deputy Consul-General Nakagaki delivered opening remarks and acted as a judge.
