Explore Japan 2023

On October 26th, Deputy Consul General Nakagaki attended the “Explore Japan” held at IISLE (Institute for Innovation in Second Language Education) in Edmonton. It was organized by Explore Japan 2023 Steering Committee and sponsored by the Edmonton Japanese Community Association (EJCA), Alberta Education and the Consulate General of Japan in Calgary.
The program provides the Japanese language students in Alberta high schools the opportunity to interactively explore Japanese culture through a wide variety of activities such as Japanese taiko drumming, kimono and yukata dressing, calligraphy, tea ceremony and karate.
