Consul-General Watabe visited the Government of Manitoba alongside H.E Ambassador Kenji Yamanouchi

On Monday, December 11th, Consul-General Watabe visited the Government House of Manitoba and the Legislative Building alongside H.E Ambassador Kenji Yamanouchi, where they both met with The Honourable Anita R. Neville, Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba, Honourable Wab Kinew, Premier of Manitoba, Honourable Tom Lindsey, Speaker of the Manitoba Legislative Assembly, Honourable Ron Kostyshyn, Minister of Agriculture, and Honourable Jamie Moses, Minister of Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources.

Opportunities to exchange opinions on a wide variety of topics, including food/ resource security between Japan and the Province of Manitoba were discussed.
