12th Japan Photo Contest

With the goal of fostering interest in Japanese culture and to further promote understanding between Japan and Canada, the Consulate-General of Japan in Calgary is pleased to present its 12th Japan Photo Contest. This contest is open to all who reside in our jurisdiction of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.

Submit photos for a chance to win prizes, including the Grand Prize: a Nikon Z5IIC Mirrorless Digital Camera (retail value CAD$1,899.00) and an official certificate from the Consul-General of Japan in Calgary.

The 12th Japan Photo Contest has four categories. Each person can submit up to a maximum of four (4) photographs (up to one [1] photo per category).
Photos taken in Japan or Canada (with a Japan-related theme/subject) are welcome!

We aim to promote awareness of various aspects of Japan's culture, while continuing to foster the positive relationship between Japan & Canada.
