Award Ceremony for the 2021 Japan Photo Contest

On December 20th, the Consulate-General of Japan in Calgary virtually hosted the award ceremony in honour of the winners of the 7th Japan Photo Contest. The winning photos were submitted by entrants in Alberta, Manitoba, and the Northwest Territories, who were all able to gather virtually to celebrate their diverse works.
After delivering opening remarks, Consul-General Uchida presented each winner with a their respective certificates and prizes. The virtual atmosphere was beaming with pride as each winner received recognition for their efforts. Afterwards, the judges delivered their impressions and remarks for each winning photo, and the winners passionately recounted their stories and memories of taking the photos to complete the evening.
