On March 16th, the award ceremony and reception were held in honour of the winners of the 11th Japan Photo Contest at the official residence. Consul-General Wajima extended his congratulations to the winners and expressed his gratitude to the sponsors and all those involved. Following this, the Consul-General awarded the winners their certificates and prizes provided by our sponsors. The winners then shared memories and stories behind their photos. Afterwards, Ms. Evelyn Drake, photo contest judge and representative of sponsor The Camera Store, made a toast.
We would like to thank all of the sponsors who helped make the 11th Japan Photo Contest possible: Nikon Canada Inc., The Camera Store, nanao kimono, Matsu Kaze Tea, Chichi Kimono, Sake Gami , Strawberry Boots, Amandine Bakery, Japan Airlines, and Yamato Mart. A sincere thank you also goes to everyone who participated in this year's contest by submitting their wonderful photos.
